Who are we?

Dr. Júlia Miró Lladó

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 2004. She completed the specialty of Neurology (2005-2009) at the Bellvitge University Hospital. Initially subspecialized in epilepsy and later in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IOM).

Since the end of his residency, he has combined training and professional practice in the subspecialties of epilepsy and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring at the Bellvitge University Hospital with translational research at the Cognition and Brain Plasticity Unit (IDIBELL-Department of Basic Neuropsychology, University of Barcelona).

During his professional training, stays in leading foreign centers stand out, such as the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Cleveland, Ohio) and the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School (Boston, Massachusetts).

He has participated as a speaker in international and national conferences, as well as courses and masters at the University of Barcelona.  He has various publications in international indexed journals, collaborations in research projects and book chapters.

Currently, he is part of the Neurology Service of the Bellvitge University Hospital where he carries out his activity in the field of epilepsy and in the Intraoperative Neurophysiology Unit directed by Dr. Fernández-Conejero.
